A Relaxed Introduction to the Exciting World of Clays; Red Field Sports has been designed and built with the beginners in mind. Join us to experience the sport of clay pigeon shooting in both a fun and safe manner. Held here on our farm in a picturesque Welsh Valley and set within our hay field, formally named "Cae Coch" (Red Field), you will have one on one tuition with a qualified shotgun coach from one of our two fully-sheltered custom-built trainer traps.
We provide a choice of guns to suit all levels from the more common over unders to semi-auto, pump action, single or double trigger shotguns and even the more traditional side by side. As standard we use double painted orange ECO clays, being low PAH and made using limestone they are safer on the environment. As an extra we also offer an upgrade to exploding targets for an even more exciting experience; Firebird Bio targets are the Worlds first completely biodegradable detonating targets, although at an additional cost of £5 each the pressure will be on to not miss, a great one for the more experienced shot!
Priced at only £35 per person for 15x clays/cartridges, £45 for 25 clays/cartridges, or £65 for 50x clays/cartridges. Price includes all necessary equipment, PPE and Coaching. Additional boxes of 25x cartridges (and clays) are available on the day and are offered at a reduced price of £20. Group bookings also have the opportunity to play for our competition trophy (minimum of 4). A loyalty discount of 10% is also now offered to returning customers purchasing coaching packages!
If bringing your own gun and cartridges, coaching is available separately at £15/15 mins and clays are charged at 60p each or £25/50 clays, £45/100 clays or £75/150 clays (only when providing your own shotgun and max 7.5 shot size fibre wad cartridges). By prior request you may also have access to our Pattern Board to show pellet disbursement at a given yardage using various choke and cartridge load combinations for enhanced accuracy and consistency of shot (only available with coaching).
Stag Do's and Hen Parties welcome, we now also offer a 'Stogie & Tipple' for an additional £10 per person, a must if you're looking for the full experience. A time-honoured tradition, best enjoyed after the event (choice of beverages available).
